Some of the most creative people I know aren't that way all the time. Understand that there are seasons of creativity. Follow the things and ideas you're passionate about. I'm also inspired by following your intuition. You have to do these things in order to advance to the next level, and you're ultimately holding yourself back by choosing not to do the shit that scares you. Yes, there will be another peak to reach beyond that, but it's all about consistently reaching climaxes and descending into the valley. I'm already in a good spot and will continue climbing this mountain all the way up. The idea that the life I want is out there, I simply have to put in the work. Those are all there-waiting to be explored.Ĥ) Who is your biggest inspiration in life? Take a nap, have sex, go for a bike ride, read a book! I'm amazed every time I walk into a book store at how many universes lie between the pages. Inspiration is everywhere, and something gets unlocked in your brain once you realize this. I find inspiration everywhere from the clothes on the person walking down the street, my grocery list, a film I've recently watched, a phone call, a song. Yes, you might have grandiose experiences (I visited LA this weekend and can attest that it is a colorful, creative town that has me in a poetic whimsy) but you will also, more often than not, experience the mundane. I never want to get off this crazy roller coaster. I want to solve as many problems as possible, and always do my best work, which is something I hope to have be able to say after every project. It's a never-ending journey-one I hope to be on for the rest of my life. I'm always chasing it and continually finding it.
